Wedding gown preservation

Hi all,


It's been a month since my wedding and I am looking for a decent (as well as cheaper) place to preserve my wedding dress and veil. Does anyone know where I can get this done? The prices at the cleaners are a bit high. My friend said that she sent her dress out for only $100. Is this possible? Suggestions please!

    Not sure, but I am looking for the same thing, so following this post!  My dress has been hanging in a spare room for over a month now because I don't know where to go with it.

    I found a couple of sites:

    affordablepreservation.com


    They are both $150, but it includes the cleaning, preservation, box, and 2-way shipping. They will send a box to you and then you jut drop it off at UPS or Fed Ex. That's the cheapest I have found so far. If you send it out through a place it's at least $200.
