XP: Dreams or Secrets Punta Cana

Has anyone stayed at either of these resorts? We are considering them for our HM and would love some input besides that which we've found via Trip Advisor. Thanks!

I haven't stayed at either, but looked into them for our HM. They are the same parent company, but I think the major difference is that Secrets is adult-only.

Hi- we stayed at Dreams Palm Beach for our honeymoon. We were told that Palm Beach was newer than Punta Cana. It was pretty horrible, I would not suggest it at all! They tried to take us to a non-oceanfront room, even though we paid for oceanfront, by telling us that none of their rooms are oceanfront.. Our a/c didn't work the entire time, we complained numerous times. There were bumble bees in our room, along with ants, on a regular basis. We booked the honeymoon package and didn't get most of what was promised, even though we asked for it on many occasions. They made a comment to my husband about wearing a shirt when he went in to get water for us, since no one was coming around to take drink orders.. the list could go on.. I can't speak for the Secrets, but I would avoid Dreams!
