@kmmssg - housekeeping update

So she has come twice.  Once on Thursday of last week for the first time clean.    I'm embarrassed to say it took a long time.

She came again today because we have an outgoing guest and an incoming guest today.    She only stayed 2 hours.

She is well worth the cost.   Plus it's easier to keep a clean house clean.  Because it's clean, DH (and myself) has been less likely to left crap around.  DH has even been putting things in the dishwasher.   Such a hugh deal because only about 50% of his plates and glasses even made it to the kitchen. Of the 50% that did only made it as far as the sink. Because you know, putting them in the dishwasher RIGHT NEXT TO THE SINK is too much of a chore.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    My FI does the exact same thing. Well, actually, I'm lucky if they make it in the sink b/c sometimes they end up on the counter right next to the sink (and right ABOVE the freaking dishwasher). Ugh.

  • FI is unable to put things in the dishwasher as well. I'm seriously beginning to wonder what this ~mystery ailment~ is that torrents the menfolk that they can't figure out the logistics of putting shit in the dishwasher.
