Edward Fox Photography

Has anyone used them? Or heard anything about them? After I visited David's Bridal they contacted me since they're the "preferred photographer." The pictures from the website look nice and the price is right, but the idea of a bigger photography studio makes me nervous. I don't want something like Bella.

My friend used them for her photography and was happy with the quality of the images as well as the photographers. They had a young guy who was enjoyable and very casual. She recommended them and loved the packages.

I would be hesitant, just because I would want to meet the person who was going to be photographing my wedding before I signed a contract.

Previous post is the same reason why we chose not to look into them.  We wanted to work with a small company where we would actually get to know the photographer.

My coworker used them and had an awful experience.  They sent a very inexperienced fellow to take the pictures and most of the pictures he took were not useable.  They got married in October 2009 and she was still fighting with them in May over the bill and the few usable pictures that were taken.  Based on her experience and the reaction from all the photographers I interviewed, I wouldn't trust them to get the job done right.

I can't stess enough, don't use a "photography house".  It's like hiring Sears Portrait Studios to take pictures on the most important day of your life. You can't choose the phototgrapher, who is probally a rookie, and you can't get a do over.

Look at "artists" who market themselves.  I didnt' use KB Image Photography, but I have seen a friends Images and I'm jealous.  (If you want photo journalist style.  If you want standard posed photos... I used Ken's Digital. He offers show specials at some of the expos.).

    Hire the person....not the company.
