We are only doing family in our WP and gave them all guests. Most of them are married or in serious relationships, so we knew who they were from the start.
FIs little brother (he is 28) is bringing a date. We said fine, whatever- we can accommodate her. He lives in Miami, the wedding is in Tallahassee and the (very large, very loud, very nosy) family is all from New York. The wedding is July 26th and we are working on the seating chart.
Apparently, little brother told their mom that he is "pretty sure" who he is going to bring but wanted to know when we needed to print the place cards. While we are happy to accommodate this date, I find it SO BIZARRE that you would not know who you were bringing to an out of town family wedding the week before!
I hope the date knows what she is getting herself into.....I love FIs family, but they can be very intimidating!
