Almost Friday! Any big weekend plans?

Well, I'm not in the mood to work today so I'm starting my first discussion.

Any fun weekend plans?

My weekend is up in the air since SO's pup is still at the Vet on a IV. I almost lost my composure when he started to cry last night. Gosh I love that man.
Also, no sleep last night might be the reason why I don't want to work.

No big plans. Finish clearing the stuff out of FI's apartment, then start cleaning, which is really more like waging war on the place. Bring it, dirt.

Oh dang, an IV in me is AWFUL.  I can't imagine an IV in a pet   Hope your SO's pup is better soon!! 

I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend.  I'm off tomorrow, and I assume I work Saturday and Sunday night but of course, the schedule hasn't been posted yet (I work this evening, so hopefully it will be posted by then.)  I'm supposed to pack a little, but I don't know if I will do that because I don't really like packing.

BUT tomorrow, which is essentially my weekend - I'm making blueberry cheesecake frozen yogurt (link here) and renting a Redbox movie.  Obviously, H is in Baltimore this weekend, which is rather unfortunate for him because the Orioles are NOT in Baltimore.  Lameo.

Awww your poor SO! I hope his pup gets better ASAP.

All we have on the agenda for this weekend is packing. We have maybe 1/4 of the apartment packed, and we get the keys on Monday for the new place. The movers aren't coming until Friday 7/25, but we definitely need to get the bulk of the packing done this weekend. 

We're also meeting with the photographer on Saturday afternoon to sign the contract, so that's exciting. I'm in shock that we needed to book so early, but apparently everyone and their mom in Texas gets married in October.

@es14bw : I hope the pup ends up alright! I've only had my dog a few months, and in a hormonal state I randomly started crying because I thought about him dying eventually. Only dog lovers/owners get it. I really really hope his dog ends up feeling better! What breed(s) is it?

On sunday I'm taking a sushi making class! Other than that, just working in the garden . .

We have a pretty busy weekend since I'm throwing @LaPeanut1018 and her FI a couple's shower on Saturday so most of the day will be spent preparing for that.

Sunday H and I driving down to Hogansville to visit his grandparents...it's about an hour and a half drive and we are taking Maddux so this will be Maddux's first little trip in the car that's over an hour. Hopefully he will just sleep as usual. We may just put his little bed in the back of the car.

Tomorrow night FI and I are having date night. We decided to order cheap chinese, rent a movie, then go get froyo. PERFECT   I'm excited for it.

Saturday FI has rehearsal and then we are heading to my hometown for my momma's birthday.  My dad is taking our whole family out to eat to celebrate. Not sure if we're doing anything afterwards.

On Sunday we have church in the morning.  We thought about asking a couple we are friends with to come over or meet up somewhere but they're always busy so I'm not holding my breath. If that doesn't happen, I'm going to see if FI wants to take a walk around the nature preserve and on some of the trails.

No big plans, but I'm going to happy hour in the city with a friend tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that! FI might meet up with us too, if I let him :-)

I'm going to one of my friend's baby showers on Saturday - I still have to go get a gift. Oops.

@es14w - I'm sorry to hear about the pup.  My dog got very very sick one time and watching him with IVs in him broke my heart.  I hope your SO's pup gets better soon.

This weekend H and I are buying a car...we never had one because we've always lived in a big city.  At least H knows how to drive said car but, as I put in the "Knowledge Gaps" thread, I need to learn.  That is totally something you should learn when you are young and irresponsible...I'm so nervous I'm going to hit someone/something now that I'm in my 30s and learning.  Ugh.

Friday night we are going to the carnival near by.  Saturday we are going over to a friend's house for a BBQ I'm looking forward to that.  I'm also making to bring with me brownies with marshmallow frosting I found on pinterest, not only does it sound yummy but I get to use my kitchenaid mixer for the first time.

Not sure what we will do on Sunday we are waiting to find out when the new countertops will be installed so not sure what the plans are for the prep work on that.  We still need to find a nice backsplash.  We may need to make a trip to Home Depot.

Yesterday I had a closet design company come to the house to create a walk-in client design for the room we have off the master bedroom.  So for them to do what I wanted with it,  they wanted $5000 that's a bit insane way more than I expected. So may we may look to do that for a lot less with the kits they have in Home Depot.

I don't have much planned for this weekend. I might do laundry tonight and then clean tomorrow night so I don't have to worry about it all weekend. 

Saturday, H works so I'm going to the beach in Brooklyn with my friend and then he'll pick me up and we'll go home. We're going to have our neighbors next door over for a BBQ and to let our pups run around together. Their dog is like Lucy's BF. 

Sunday, absolutely nothing on the agenda. Maybe H will want to go to the beach in NJ.

I am running a cheer clinic this Saturday. I am freaking out because we have a small amount of girls signed up and I'm afraid that we won't have a season. This is my first year as coordinator and I feel like I am going to look like such a failure if we don't have enough girls for a program.

Sunday is my cousins birthday and my aunt has a pool so we will most likely end up there.

On Saturday I finally made a date with my dad to start putting down the new flooring in the basement.  SO plans to move in in the next few months, so I really need some space for all his man-cave stuff!

Which means tomorrow I need to start removing all the girl-cave junk I have in there at the moment... Where to put it?? NO IDEA!

Friday night nothing planned, maybe grocery shopping if FI gets out of work early

Saturday I have a baby shower (which I have also not bought a gift for...) and there's a food truck festival down the street so we might check that out. Also we have to drop off the empty bottles that @swazzle and @csousa1 consumed at our house to our friend's house so they can bottle their homemade beer.

Sunday I'm working on all the DIY wedding stuff that I need done. The list is overwhelming but I'm just going to buckle down and do it. We'll probably also go to the food truck festival again.

Oh yeah and play with kittens.

I have an infusion tomorrow morning, so I'm looking forward to severe fatigue all weekend. When I say, "severe fatigue," I mean it's a struggle to move my limbs. I'm proud of myself for (over a year later) finally scheduling my infusions on Fridays so I can sleep all weekend. The first 2-3 days post-infusion are always the worst, and when my infusions are earlier in the week, I'm never able to make it into work the rest of the week.

If I have any energy this weekend, I will try to come into work to check cells, and J and I have to do wedding planning, since we put off so much of it.

Mostly, I just want to binge-watch Orange is the New Black and Castle. We alternate, and once we're done with Castle, we get to start Once Upon a Time so that I can watch it again because I LOVE IT YOU GUYS I have such a problem.

Like @swazzle, I will also TOTALLY be hanging out in GA at @LaPeanut1018's shower on Saturday.  Provided I can ya know...get back to work by 3 PM?  Or like..maybe I won't be scheduled!

But @southernpeach89 would never call the cops on me, unless my eyebrows were truly out of control.

My weekend mostly consists of the couples shower @southernpeach89 is hosting for me Saturday night! Woo!

I really hope @Swazzle and @Blue & White decide to show up (and @TwoDimes and whoever else has mentioned crashing) cause it's going to be a party!

And then Sunday is recovery. Also, I'm getting my hair cut and highlights touched up. Woo!

I'm just catching up. 

Tonight - no real plans

Saturday - I pick up my dress!!!!!  Looks like I'm going by myself.  I have to decide where to get alterations done (have the shop do it or go somewhere else).  We have a AFL Cleveland Gladiators game, we have to get there SUPER early in order to try to pick out new seats for next season.

Sunday - No plans.  We need to get on our bikes and ride, we have like 16 days before our 75-mile ride and I still don't have 1 mile on my bicycle in!!
