Roots Salon in Brookfield

I'm contemplating going with Roots Salon in Brookfield for hair and make up the day of for myself, BMs, and mom's. Just wondering if anyone currently goes there/has been in there in the past? I'm still waiting to hear back from their wedding coordinator, so I thought I would ask on here too!

I have not been to Roots, but Studio 890 did a great job for my sister-in-laws wedding, and I am going to my normal salon- Imagine Salon in Brookfield, although they don't have make-up, I found someone who travels to your location, who does great work from what i have seen.  And her pricies were about $5 over a regular salon.

I thought about going with Roots too and when they sent me their price sheet, the prices were a bit higher than I wanted to pay...I think it was like over $60 for bridal make-up which seems a little high. I decided on Merle Norman at Brookfield Square (the separate salon connected to the mall, not IN the mall). They're prices are pretty standard and they can do hair, nails and make-up. Very easy to work with and have been super accomodating thus far.

Thanks for your input! I actually wasn't told the prices for Roots yet, so I'm glad you mentioned this. My original hair stylist backed out from wanting to do our hair and make up (there are 11 of us, 2 of them) so now I have to find a salon. I've looked into Merle Norman and really like their make up. I am going to give them a call today, thank you!
