...a wife!!! And it's fan-freakin-tastic

Despite smoke from the WA fires, killer Mosquitos, and a close call with a state trooper, it was pure bliss!!
The house we're staying out has near zero reception & spotty wifi, which has been a blessing and a curse, so only a couple of pics to share until I can get on FB (our backyard for the week/pre-ceremony set up, an awesome sunset on the lake, DH & Me with our new BFF & us with my sis).
Hope the weekend was glorious for y'all, too!
**update**
I can't believe it's already been a week! I wan't to go back and 'ground hog day' the weekend, it was just so damn perfect (…for us). Some of the hiccups:
* Mosquitos: Holy hell the mosquitos. DH is semi-allergic to 'em and by Wednesday, his ankles were swollen so much he could barely get his shoes on. But then enter the smoke…
* Smoke! Damn fires. By mid-week, it was so smoky in the valley that you couldn't even see across the lake. I was so worried about rain that I didn't even think about fires. Come Friday I had come to peace with the fact that the gorgeous lake-shots were going to be a pipe-dream.
* Oops on the nail appointment. We didn't think ahead and make an appointment for manis & pedis and just assumed we could walk-in for an afternoon of pampering. Wrong. Turns out small town nail salons during peak tourist season book up fast. Oh well - quick trip to the grocery store and a night of me & my Ma playing salon was how it all shook out.
* Wind. Come Saturday (day of) it was hella windy. We wanted to do first look and most of our pictures before the ceremony and it was so flippin' windy that we could only get a couple shots on the lake before blowing away (God bless hair spray, though. My lovely locks barely moved an inch

). Luckily, the property was pretty big so we were able to relocate to the front yard area and get (I think) some gorgeous shots.
* Me + heels = bad combo: Here I was worried about biffing it while walking down the isle, but instead I shoulda been more focused on not stepping on my dress. Yep, 10 minutes into wearing it I had put a hole in shell. Tear. It's just so delicate, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but arg anyway.
But then!! Come ceremony time everything was just perfect. Literally, the second my Dad & I started walking down the isle, the wind stopped, the sun came out, and the view was crystal clear! DH's Dad passed away a few years ago and his ashes were scattered on the east shore of the lake and I've not a single doubt in my mind that his spirt was there with us all and that he pulled some strings with the powers that be to make it all work out exactly as it was mean to be. I married the man of my dreams in a very special place surrounded by the family we love. We were…ARE...blessed

Oh, and Officer Bob! We rode over to the reception with my lead-footed sister and Dad and sure as shit, she got pulled over for going 65 in a 45. The small town cops have a reputation for being no-nonsense, and Sis has a history of getting snotty with cops, so there was a moment of panic that the altercation wasn't going to end well. But Bob was gem and Sis minded her P&Qs so she got off with a warning and we got a killer photo Op! Another win for wedding day!
It's going to be a month or so before we get the gallery from the photographer, but she's given a few teasers and I'm head over heels in love with them.
