Hello, I've been looking all over for a nice story or poem about the 1000 paper cranes that are folded at Japanese/ Japanese-American weddings. We wanted to honor my FH's Japanese heritage, by folding them for our wedding. We also wanted to put a little sign somewhere that explains the significance of them to our family and friends who might not have heard of this tradition. I could write it myself, but I was hoping that some of you might have found a poem or story about the significance of the origami crane in weddings. I'm sure someone out there has worded it way more elegantly than I could. Thank you!
