cupcait927, that really sucks. Hopefully, everything turns out okay. I have been through similar things with FI, and he really gets himself worked up over it, and it turns out to be fine. It definitely is a stressful situation to be in, though.

@pinkcow13 Thanks. I was thinking of you and what your FI has gone through with his job stress. I'm really hoping that this all blows over. Despite the mistake that was made by FI, he's an awesome worker and insanely dedicated to his company. His manager tells him constantly that she wishes she could clone him and he also just got  promotion but hasn't started the new position yet. I'm hoping that something can be worked out, even if it means revoking the promotion and moving him to a different branch or position, just so he can stay with this company (he works for a bank).

cupcait927, Hopefully it will blow over, especially since he has such a good track record. At my company, mistakes happen, and even the major ones can be worked out (for the most part). And I hope they won't revoke his promotion, either. Chances are, his manager will vouch for him and work to keep him there. I will definitely be sending you guys lots of vibes that this all works out!

My weekend was not the greatest. I drove on the 401 (major highway here) for the first time, and it was stop and go traffic for al most 3hrs. Much crying ensued. Then Sunday I made a poor decision, and about 20kg of steel fell on my foot. Nice blue bruise and a good gash. No more sandals for a few weeks for this girl! Today I'm trying to figure out the last details for FIs and my roadtrip out to the Maritimes (PEI, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick). We leave Thursday, and I think it's all sorted. Now to see if I can be in a car with him for 11h and we both live to tell the tale....

We did that road trip as part of our honeymoon! (Flew into Boston, drove up through Maine and then through the Maritimes...)
