hospital bound- update!

I started having chest pains and shortness of breath this afternoon. They think I have pericarditis AGAIN! Ugh finger crossed it's gas! Lol

Update about clot is below, but the doctors are still pondering this. I need to have a MRI today. They are now thinking it is most likely a clot, but might be a tumor. Given my CT scan has shown quite a reduction in the size of my cancer mass (yay!), we're thinking a tumor seems odd. But, the oncologist seems to think a tumor would just be treated with the same chemo I'm already on.

So, not great news. They found a large blood clot in my heart. It's going to be tough for the next few days while I'm in the hospital. I hope to be checking back in with good news once this is resolved. I just can't believe that i'm having this set back.

Oh Jells!  Thinking of you.  I'm glad you went to have yourself checked out.  My dad has a really bad heart (5 stents and a defibrillator) he once had a blood clot and they easily took care of it.

There really ought to be a law that complications cannot coexist with flipping cancer.  It's just wrong.  Intentions will be said for strength of mind and body.
