Recommendations for Event Insurance

in Wedding Reception Forum

Hello all!   The summer camp that we are having our wedding and reception at requires us to have event insurance. We have contacted our homeowners but they were not able to add it. We are also unable to find out what company previous brides have used.  Has anyone ever dealt with an event insurance company like "The Event Helpers" or something similar? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

    Most venues require this.

    We called AAA (our car insurance) and asked about an add-on policy. They were able to do it and it was pretty cheap.

    I have seen Travelers advertising event insurance-- you may want to check with them.

    I used WedSafe. It took just a few minutes online to pick the policy and pay for it. I think it cost me $175 for the level that my venue required, for my 150 guest wedding.
