I chose my dress. Like for real.

I'm done looking. I chose my dress. It's the Alfred Angelo #237 Jasmine gown. I looked and looked and nothing compared. It's flowy and no poofy, no crinoline involved whatsoever. It hides my back fat. My mom says it looks like a night gown. I'm not saying she is wrong but I still love it. I've included the picture of me in the sample (4 sizes too large) and the picture of the model with the purple belt. Mine will be all ivory.

I definitely don't think it looks like a nightgown... What a strange thing to say about a wedding dress.

It's lovely! I despise the head thing the model is wearing in the photo - I think this dress would look stunning with a chapel length veil, an updo, some dangly earrings, and a simply necklace. Plus you'll be carrying flowers, I assume. It'll be pretty damn obvious you're getting married - not getting ready for bed.

Well it's a 10 year vow renewal so I won't be wearing a veil and I will remove the train. That's one thing I liked about the gown, it feels appropriate enough for a renewal. It is feminine and in my opinion though some will disagree it doesn't scream bride bride bride. And yes, that head piece looks like Wonder Woman or something odd.
