What color corsage?

We are DIYing our flowers with help of a good family friend who is awesome at stuff like that.  She needs to know what color corsage to make for my FMIL.  The issue is that she has changed what she is wearing 3 times now, and will likely change it another 3 times before our wedding in 30 days.  The only constant is the black flowy pants she will be wearing.  She has gone through a shimmery white top, a blue floral top, and has landed currently on a black and white patterned top.  I have explained this to my mom and her friend.

I am probably overthinking this, but my mom and the family friend are treating this like a life or death decision that only I can make.  They refuse to make suggestions.  With the high probability that what FMIL is wearing will change in the next 30 days, they are stressing me out.  

Should we do all white for the corsage?  Is that too much white?  I like that it would go with anything she decides to wear if (when) she changes her mind.  But if she is wearing a mostly white top, I think a little color in the corsage would be nice.

I think you're overthinking it. Don't worry about what FMIL is wearing. Make her corsage whatever color you like, with the flowers you have. Or make it the same as the other corsages. Whatever colors you choose will be lovely.

I'd say stick with whatever flowers you're using for the rest of your corsages and stuff.

Our bouquets are deep red roses with a pretty blue peruvian lily.  The center pieces are the same with the addition of some purpley red hydrangea and some kind of really dark blue little flower.

My mom picked her corsage and will have purple and white orchids to go with her deep purple dress. 

The grandmas are getting the blue lillies from the bouquets with tea roses, one is light pink and the other is white (one grandma can't travel to the wedding so we are bringing it to her).  I wasn't consulted about those so I don't know how the colors were decided on.

I am leary about making FMIL a corsage that is like the grandmas' corsages since my mom has her own special one.

@ElcaB I have asked her and she said to pick what I think would look best because she doesn't have a clue.  She was insistent that I tell her specifically what color she should wear to the wedding, and I think is so indecisive on her outfit because I wouldn't do that.  

For perspective, FI's family has never been to a wedding with any of the more common trappings.  They are more like my FMIL's and FFIL's wedding where she didn't have a dress, they were at a laundromat doing laundry and then walked across the street to the ceremony, then met family at a restaurant that night where everyone paid for themselves.  They had also never heard of a bridal shower, and FMIL asked me what one was since I invited her to the one my MOH is throwing.

All white then, or else match your mom's corsage.  FMIL won't just tell you what she wants, though?

@JCBride2015  No, she won't. I have asked several times.  She still complains that it would be easier if I would tell her what color outfit to wear.

Thanks for everyone's help.  I think we will go with just straight white.  Glad that won't look too weird.

Yeah, white was the first thing that came to mind to me, as well.  You can use different shades of white, different kinds of flowers, ribbons, accents - it'll be lovely.
