This is my 2nd marriage and his 1st. Between the two of us, we have 5 children ranging from 16 to 8. All of our kids are in the wedding party, but my thought was to have them do something special. Something like having each of them do a reading. Too much??

I think if they are in the wedding party, that is more than enough recognition. Plus, not everyone is confident enough or feels comfortable reading with public speaking, so it's best to choose someone who is. Not saying your kids might be uncomfortable, but what if one isn't- would that one kid then feel left out?
