EDIT: This is for the program, so we want both first names.

She has it:

Dad and Stepmom Last Name

Stepdad Last name and Mom last name

The second couple has two different last names, the first one is married. I have thoughts but I'm not 100% on etiquette here! I think you are not supposed to separate the man from his last name?

She doesn't have any mr. and mrs. on there, but there also aren't any traditional people. Should she still do it? It's the program, not the invites.

  • I didn't use Mr. and Mrs. on the program so I said:

    Mom Name
Dad and New Wife Last Name

In your case, for the second couple I would do
Mom LastName and StepDad HisLasName (I'd rather put the parent first personally)

This is the traditional wording for divorces and remarried parents:

    Ms. Mary Bridesmother
    Mr. John Bridesfather
request the pleasure of your company
at the marriage of their daughter
    Bride's Full Name
    to
    Mr. Groom's Full Name

If she wishes to include the step-parents (optional):

Ms. Mary Bridesmother and Mr. James Stepfather
    Mr. and Mrs. John Bridesfather
request the pleasure of your company
    at the marriage of
    Bride's Full Name
    to
    Mr. Groom's Full Name
