Where can I find good alterations service for my wedding dress?

Near Scotch Plains, NJ. I'm trying to find a seamstress for alterations on my dress and desperately need help. My wedding is in November and everyone I've spoken to said it's getting to be late now for me.

Your local board is usually a better bet for these questions since this is an international board, but it looks like yours is pretty quiet. Try Yelp and other reviews sites. You can also ask your bridal salon where you bought your dress what they recommend.

However, everyone you've spoken to sounds pretty misinformed. My wedding is in September and I just started the alterations process a few days ago. And they said I was early.
