FI started crying after we got out of our tour at the Inn...needless to say, we found our venue!
We sat down over the weekend and crunched serious numbers. With him still out of a job, my mother won't give me the money that's supposed to go for our wedding (yeah there's drama surrounding that one) and FI's parents sat down with us last night for a nice dinner to talk about budget, the wedding and the job search. They're going to be discussing what they feel comfortable with contributing if they would like to.
In other news, I need some vibes. Tomorrow we have the publisher and group editor of our paper coming to the office for a meeting and since we usually never see them, everyone's nervous that they're going to be trying to cut someone. They hired the publisher a few months ago so they're trying to claim it's just the publisher checking things out, but we don't know and FI and I are definitely nervous.
