Gates of Heaven - Madison, WI

Has anyone had their wedding or been to a wedding at Gates of Heaven in Madison? What are your thoughts? It's a small church/synagogue on James Madison Park. It lookes like a great place for an intimate wedding ceremony but I'm not sure if it's religion-afflicate since I am not having a religious ceremony.

    I think that it used to be a synagogue, but is not anymore.  Now it is simply a building owned by the city of Madison.  It is really pretty and I would have considered getting married there, but it was too small. 

    I think it would be fine to have a non-religious ceremony there.

    <--- Recently married, past bride.  I am a photographer and that place is.....Heaven.  It is sooo beautiful.  I dont think that they are affiliated with any active church but you can bring in your own.  I reccomend http://www.happilyeverafterweddings.info.  They officiate ceremonies to your taste.

    It is a great spot though!  I'd reccomend it to anyone.
