Wedding and Reception Ideas for a Budget

I am hoping to locate an affordable venue (less than $1000) for our December wedding. We are wanting to keep it small less than 100 guests, something that has a rustic feel would suit our personalities. We would love to have the ceremony and reception at the same location that might offer some help on the budget. Any suggestions in the KC Metro area are appreciated! Thanks

    We are doing our's at the Hotel Phillips downtown - Their room rental was really affordable compared to other places and they have a lot of different options/packages to choose from!

    Have you looked at any of the parks departments in Kansas? I had my ceremony and reception at Mahaffie Heritage center. Loved it. There are a couple other venues in Johnson County that might be less expensive.
