Help! Making songs an MP3?

I need some help! I need to make our first dance and parent songs an MP3 file. If anyone can tell me how to do that, I would be so grateful! I don't have iTunes but if I have to suck it up and pay, I might. I've just been sending YouTube links previously.

I think if you go through the protocol to burn a CD, it'll give you an MP3 CD option. Then it'll just save the files onto a CD.

It's been a while since I've done that, so I'm kind of just guessing. I can update after I get home and take a look if you'd like.

Is that through itunes? Or is there a way to get the file from YouTube? I just need to be able to send the MP3 electronically.

Open two windows: YouTube & youtube-mp3.org. Copy & paste the link of the song you want from YouTube into the youtube-mp3 box and select "convert video." Then download the new mp3 file.
