suggestions for east side madison hairstylists?

i'm getting married on a sunday and looking for someone/someplace around $50.  also, is it pretty standard for stylists to charge for the trial session?  don't remember that being the case--maybe a free trial is a small town thing.  thanks!

If you go to a bridal fair they are often doing hair trials there for free.  Admission cost $10ish, but that is less than a trial hair appointment.  

I used Ultimate Salon and Spa and through they did a nice job.  I think the price is more than $50, though.
