Is an hour and a half to far away?

The place where I want to have my wedding is about an hour and a half away from where I live. Is that to far away for a wedding? I have a few people saying that, that is far. I didn't think it was that bad of a drive. I don't know what to think and I'm starting to stress myself out. HELP!

    People plan weddings all the time from out of state or even out of the country - guests will also travel even if it is far away.  However, the farther away stuff is, the more people will decline.  I have hardly ever gone to a wedding in recent years near where I live, but that's just me.  An hour and a half away will probably require your guests to either leave early or get a hotel.  If you are okay with that, it isn't a problem.  I wouldn't think anything of it, really.
