FI just booked our trip for next month! We'll be in the Hawthorne/Mt. Pleasant area for a family thing on his side. My mom lives in Schenectady. Any suggestions for meeting up? I wish we had more time, but we have one day with her.

    Walkway over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie! There are a bunch of mansions too including FDRs house if you're into that kind of thing.

    No recommendations for places to meet up.. I just saw Schenectady and ZOMG- PERRECA'S!

    Please tell me that you've been there.  If you haven't.. you must try their bread!!!
