Do I have to get bridesmaids dresses at same place I bought my gown?

I love the place I ordered my wedding dress from but looking online I haven't found any bridesmaid dresses that I am crazy about. Do I have to get the bridesmaid dresses there or can I shop around? I don't want to insult the people where I got my gown but I don't want to settle for the bridesmaids either

Absolutely not!  You're free to buy bridesmaids dresses where ever you like.  The only thing is that you may receive a discount for buying everything in one place.  Did you take your BMs to look at the dresses?  They may be more keen on them than you are.  But that depends on how much control you want over the BM dress choosing process.

Nope! I adored the salon where I got my dress. They were fantastic while trying on dresses, got my dress in ahead of time, communicated very well with me the whole time.

BUT the dresses in the designer's line I had picked were about $20-$25 more expensive than another store in our area, so I went to the other store. I wasn't going to spend other people's money to support a business I had a great experience with.

Also keep in mind that depending on what designer you choose, your ladies can grab the dress at any number of stores. They don't all have to get their dresses from the same place.

No, definitely not! And you don't have to get them "bridesmaid" dresses. Go somewhere with great cocktail dresses like Nordstrom.

Please don't worry about the bolded OP or make any comments to your BMs like it. You're a bride. Unless someone shows up in a wedding gown, it will not detract from you. And even then, everyone will wonder who the crazy ass chick is in the wedding dress, because she's not the bride.
