Suggestions Needed: Catholic Churches in Long Island

Hi everyone! I am in the process of booking my reception venue for June of 2016 and it is likely either going to take place in Oakdale (South Shore), Old Westbury, or Farmingdale. Given those three locations, I was hoping to get suggestions on Catholic churches in Long Island that are not too far from those towns. I am not from Long Island, my fiance is, so any help would be much appreciated. We are looking for either a cathedral or something comparable that is very grand and elegant and accepts non-members.
