The last of our thank you notes went out this weekend, 5 weeks to the day after the wedding. We were able to figure out who got us the card-less gift by checking with the store (was bought in store so no record of who bought it, but fortunately, only one guest from that city attended our wedding), and by comparing the handwriting of the illegible card to our guest book, we determined who gave us the other gift we couldn't identify a sender on.
But I do have one final thank you to make:
Etiquette Knotties,
Thank you for all of your advice throughout my wedding planning process. I appreciate you being a sounding board for ideas, both to make sure they were etiquette approved and simply for the good suggestions that came from my questions. You made the entire process much easier. And I was proud to have a well hosted wedding and reception. I think my guests really enjoyed themselves, and some of that credit goes to you. I also appreciate all of the posts from others on this board. Knowing that other people were going through the same ridiculousness as I was - and sometimes even worse things - definitely made me feel better. Thanks again, ladies and gentlemen. You rock!
