I tried this on a couple of weeks ago and am going back this Sunday to retry it has stuck in my mind ever since. We are travelling from the uk and this dress is really light so will be easy to carry as hand luggage plus we are also getting married sept 2015 and it's going to be hot!

I just got married on Monday here in Vegas. I wanted a short dress since it's so hot in August but couldn't find what I wanted. I ended up loving this long dress and then got it altered into a hi-low and it was perfect! Good luck!

Thank you! I can't wait to wear it. I'm either going for Jimmy Choo bridal shoes or pastel blue or pink peep toe platforms. Can't find them anywhere though! Also have no idea what to do with my hair, I don't know how a veil will look with a short dress, and whether to have hair up or down.

I love Galia but it is clearly out of my budget. I thought about doing a replica dress but I have just heard/seen too many horror stories.

Wow these are gorgeous gowns. I'm looking to have a custom made dress, wedding isn't until 10/1/15 but I will be contacting the dress shop for a consult in Nov or Dec.

@Chant23 - They are about $6k (used) to $10k+ You have to have it custom made and they have a store in CA.

I may risk it...problem is when i went to davids bridal in florida i was told 

"If there is one dress in a store could be new york lets say, online will list it as available in store and if you order a dress online via davids bridal and you dont like it or doesnt fit as per picture they will only give you a credit note and if your dont use it within their time or find something you like then im sorry but no refund" the dresses i have seen i like from davids bridal im not gona buy and then try lol 

So i may just risk it.....replica i found online is use us/australian but id stay away from asia and i would use someone who has high ratings and a good returns policy so all i loose is shipping.....

Im going to see what davids bridal has around november/december sales and if nothhing then ill look into the replica because boy they are bautiful 6-10k i wish i could

I love your dress @finallymrsroberts! Who is the designer? I really wanted a short dress, but couldn't find one that I loved, so I ended up with a long dress... I'm still contemplating having it cut short!
