Canoe wedding gift!

My fiance and I did the traditional wedding registry, but we also did a mini-registry at an outdoors store because that's what we're really into. At first I thought it might be silly to do the outdoors-y registry, but I'm really glad we did because now we have a canoe! It was an early wedding gift from a few family members. I'm so excited and can't wait to use it :)

    Cool! We had an Amazon registry and got our backpacking tent... it was really nice to be able to register for different types of things since we already had a lot of the typical registry stuff.

    Aw fun! My BFF registered for a ton of camping gear when they got married. The bridesmaids went in on a giant tent for them as a gift for her bachelorette party :)

    @SmileDamnit, It was $600. It's one of the cheapest and most basic canoes that are available, but it suits our needs (i.e. recreation and fishing). They have some really fancy and pricey ones out there for the hardcore types.

    Edit: Oh oops, I thought you said "how much".. haha I've had such a Monday brain this week. Sorry.

    Ha! Apology so not needed! Now I know what I'm up for if/when we decide to shop for canoes ;)

    Thanks! We used REI. I actually kind of hate REI because it's pretty overpriced, but we have one locally. They gave us the gun to walk around with and then I added a few things online.
