As a consignment shop lover and a bargain shopper (holla at your girl, TJ Maxx!), I'm using the same thrifty approach when it comes to planning my wedding.
I bought a veil off Craigslist. Although I wasn't able to see it in person due to the distance, the seller reassured me it was in like-new condition. I paid her via PayPal & she shipped it to me.
I received it yesterday, but my excitement was short lived when I discovered several small tears and holes in the veil which naturally resulted in lots of tears.
I contacted the seller to let her know I was disappointed and am waiting to hear back. I know PayPal has a "resolution center" to assist with disputes, and if I need to I'll use it & hope for the best, but in the meantime I'm really upset. I can't believe someone would be so dishonest. Worst case scenario, I can probably cut the veil above the tears, but I hope it doesn't come to that.
