Pearlsplace, Netbride and Best Bridal Prices

Has anyone purchased from any of these sites before? My understanding is that their bridesmaids dresses are cheaper. I am just looking to give my BM another option for their dresses but want to make sure they are legit and have good customer service. They will have tried on the dress before ordering so they know the size. I have been told they are priced better through these sites and I'm looking for any feedback. (I have asked about Pearlsplace before but only received one response so I thought I'd ask one more time)

  • Yes, @CMGragain highly recommends Pearl's Place. It's a real brick-and-mortar store with real designer dresses - oftentimes the online-only places sell cheap Chinese knock-offs.

My daughter bought her dress and her bridesmaids' dresses from Pearl's Place.  They do not accept orders over the internet.  You have to telephone them during business hours to get their prices and to place an order.  They cannot discount Maggie Sottero, due to her price fixing.  They do not like to sell you a dress unless you have actually tried it on in person somewhere, and they will ask you a lot of questions about measurements.  You must pay in full on a credit card.
My daughter later helped two friends buy their gowns from Pearl's Place.  They were equally thrilled.
All sales are final, as with any bridal salon.  They are ordering the dress for you from the designer, not picking from a warehouse full of stock like David's Bridal.
