Need linen advice! How shiny is too shiny?

I made shiny glitter centerpieces! i was originally going to do a satiny/iridescent silver linen, but something tells me that might be too much.
Or is there such a thing?
I don't want all the shiny to get lost either.

My wedding colors are silver, rhinestone, pearl, and white
the venue will be decorated for christmas (we chose our colors to not clash with red and green)

  • IDK if it's too shiny, but you might not have enough contrast. I think the silver/sparkliness of your centerpieces would be more prominent against a white tablecloth.

  • I don't think the satin is too much at all. But I wouldn't do silver. I would do white for sure. If you want a little more texture, do crushed taffeta, satin rosette or a pintuck taffeta.

  • I don't think shiny linens photograph so well.  I'd go with something solid that looks more rich and consistent in varying light and exposure.
