I got engaged almost a month ago and everyone we know wants to know when we are taking the engagement photos. We have decided on a dated 10/15/2016 which is almost 2 years away, is it too early to take engagement photos?

    Depends on what you want them for. If you just want nice professional photos of the two of you, then you can do them now. If you want them for save the dates or to get to know your wedding photographer, you'll probably want to wait till 2016.
