JJsHouse Wedding Dresses

I was search for wedding dresses online and found one that I completely fell in love with and is just perfect me. However, I never heard of the company which is overseas and was a little nervous to purchase the biggest part of my wedding day from them. I decided to place a order for a few small items to see how things would turnout. So I ordered a veil, bra, and swatch fabric. Needless to say they shipped all the wrong items and the order turned out to be a nightmare. The company is awful to work with and wants the customer to put out additional money to correct their mistake. They have absolutely no customer service what so ever. After searching online I have found several negative reviews from this company and they are operating under several different online names. They are as follows:

Regardless, I am still in love with this dress and would love to wear it or something similar on my wedding day. Can anyone tell me if you have seen anything like the dress pictured or if you know the original manufacture as it seems that these companies may steal designs from the original designers?

The pictures you are looking at are not the companies' own work.  They are stolen from another designer's website. 
You cannot possibly choose a dress from a photo-shopped anorexic model standing on a platform in a tortuous pose.  Those dresses look completely different on you.  Go shopping in your local bridal salons and try on a variety of styles and silhouettes.  Most brides here will tell you that when they tried on "the dress" - eh.  It wasn't as special as they thought.  I know my daughter chose something very different from what she had imagined.

I would agree with CMG that you should really try on the dresses in a salon and avoid shopping for your dress online althogether. Most online sites sell cheap shitty knockoffs!!!

Have you actually tried a dress like this on?  You should never order a wedding dress that you haven't tried on in person.  How do you know that it is the one when you have never put it on?  Many times (myself included) brides fall in love with a dress they see in pictures and absolutely hate it when they try it on.

JJSHouse has a horrible reputation.  Check out https://www.facebook.com/#!/BridesBeware for examples of knockoffs and how they end up looking.  It isn't cute.

The photo attached is a a JJsHouse knockoff.   Don't waste your time or money.

If you are looking for some sound advice and a long list of sites to avoid, I suggest you check out this site - http://www.bridestore.info/ seems to be well informed about the scammers and after what I read there, it seems you are right about JJsHouse and many others who run a lot of sites under different names. Be careful and hope this will help you.

You should avoid ALL RETAILERS who only sell wedding dresses online. Try it on in person!

Did any of the suggestions here help you at all?  Doeydo is fantastic at looking these things up.  

PPs are exactly right.  Don't waste your time and money going through a Chinese online order site.  These companies usually don't take responsibility for any mistakes, thus leaving you out of pocket and with an unwearable dress.

I wonder if you could Google image search it like on the show Catfish to find out who the original designer is. I would just look for local designers and Davids Bridal to see if you can find anything similar.

This post has helped me very much. Thank you for all the responds. I am a little heart broken and I still can't find the real designer of the actual dress that I feel in love with. I know a wedding dress is different and this is my second wedding. However, I shop online all the time and I know what will look good on my body and what will not. This particular dress is what I pictures in my dreams. So the search begins. I purchased my first wedding dress from netbride.com and had a great experience but that was a more traditional gown. I am just hoping that I can find the right dress this time as we are having a very relaxed beach style wedding. I am in search of relaxed but still elegant gown. Thank you again!

Take it from me, don't buy your wedding dress 'custom made' online from China no matter the vendor. A few good reviews and stories will pop up but 99% of the time you will get crap and you will not be pleased. I was stubborn and did it too, the dress was disappointing and to me it actually seemed like one of the better ones based on the bad reviews I've read online. In the end I ended up choosing a dress from a salon after wasting $400 of my wedding budget on a dress from China. Don't make that mistake, go with your gut and avoid the heartache!
