Hi ladies... we made it to Vermont, and the house we're staying at is gorgeous! The host made a couple of changes to our day today that have me a little livid. I hope not overreacting!
Ok first, the host booked another couples wedding at the same time, in the same balloon. I knew there might be other people in the balloon, but really?? When we were working out a date to begin with she didn't let us pick one date because there was another wedding here at the B&B. I would have been ok with one here since we're going to be somewhere else! But yeah. It's not going to be my day, it's not even going to be my hour.
Next, she's supposed to serve us dinner after the ceremony. She says that doesn't work for her because she had something booked early in the morning, so she's giving us a picnic basket to eat before we go up in the balloon. The 3 of us in formal wear, eating food on a blanket before the ceremony. I am not happy, and thinking we're going to have to decline that, and find food somewhere afterwards.
Oh, and this might all be moot because it's raining.
