turn on via a paperwad thrown anywhere, when I need them on (not that I don't still try), but a poorly tossed string cheese wrapper thrown in the general direction of a trash can just made all the hall lights come on? Seriously motion sensors are whacked and toying with me.
(I'm annoyed they're on because it signals that someone is in this office bank. There are tons of students around looking for people w/ offices here, and NONE of them want to see me because I cannot help them. Lights being on means I've just guaranteed a steady stream of people coming in to say "is prof X here? Oh. When will (s)he be in? Can you give them this for me?" for the next hour [the answers are 'no, no idea, and put it in her mailbox, (s)he'll check there before seeing me'] unless I go find a new hiding place)
