DJ Recommendations?

I'm trying to book everything that relies on other people's wedding dates (aka ceremony, reception, photographer, etc.) as early as possible to ensure that we don't settle.

Next on my list is DJ's.

My Dad has been in a band since I was young and I really want him to play during the reception. He's in his 50's, so I'm assuming they're only going to play one set. Unfortunatley, I'd like the first dances to go before his band plays a set, and then have the DJ play the rest of the night and do the grand march. Meaning I'd want a DJ for an hour, then have an hour break, and then for the rest of the night. I'm guessing I'll end up paying for them the entire night...but wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations.

Does anyone have suggestions on DJ's in the Metro Milwaukee area? Our reception is being held in Germantown, WI.

Anything is helpful!

There have been several threads about DJ's.  If you go to the bottom of the page you can do a search to see what has been discussed before.  :)

I highly recommend Flipside DJ Services, Dan Palmisano runs it.  He is amazing and his prices are unbeatable.  Used him for my own wedding last month and everyone gave him rave reviews.

We love Madison Mobile DJ. Travis is fantastic! He has tricks to get even the most hesitant groups out on the floor. We have shot at 2 weddings with him and he was great at both.
