Work funnies

So this kid calls and says his parents are owners (timeshare) and do we have rooms available for Oct 25? Answer is no, that is the Saints/Packers game and we have been sold out for weeks now (we only have 18 units). I never got his parent's name as it didn't matter. There are no rooms. His dad just calls. Asks the same thing. I again say "sorry we are sold out for that weekend". He is like "there is nothing you can do for an owner?". Again "no we are sold out". Then pull up his account. He hasn't made a single payment since 2011. I'm thinking and laughing to myself "Yeah, sure buddy, I will bend over backwards to get someone who is behind 3 years on their fees a room on one of the busiest football weekends of the year". Seriously? What is wrong with people?

  • I always love when people ask if there is anything you can do when there is literally NOTHING you can do. Sure, sir, I can kick some people out of their rooms and move you in right away!"

  • Can you call them back and say that you need to inform them about going into foreclosure?

Please tell me you mentioned his THREE YEARS of back payment due.
  • Sorry, DH picked me up and took me to lunch.

He has been extra nice lately.  Umm.   Oh that's right, he is spending his only half day off golfing with friends today.

Anyway, yes I mentioned the back payments.   He quickly got off the phone and said he would call me next week.   Even if he did pay up we are SOLD OUT.     I had 2 owners book their room within 15 minutes of the NFL releasing the schedules back on April 22 at 8pm EST.  They called me on my personal phone.  So yeah, people booked early for those dates.  And they pay, so yeah.
