Can someone pay my bills too?

So this came up on my news feed. (Sorry I only know how to attach it as a file).  And all I could think of was hmm can someone pay my bills for me too?  I'd like to go on vacation.  Like really you were already lucky enough to receive enough gifts to fund a honeymoon and now you start a gofundme to pay your bills while you're away?  Blah people are ridiculous.

WTF?? If they can't afford to pay their bills without working for 5 days, then they need to take their wedding money and put it in the bank. They have their priorities ALL sorts of wrong.

WTF? Ditto Jells. I guess they do not understand the concept of having 3-9 months worth of expenses in their account?

I do not get PTO. I save a part of each paycheck for when I do take time off. Simple concept actually. 

When I lived in the islands the boat was out of the water from late Aug-Mid-Oct. Then in Oct it was really slow. I save throughout the year, paid extra on my bills and I was able to take all the time off to travel or just hang out.

I'd also like to understand how the HM is $1200 but they need $2800 to compensate for bills???

I think it's the other way round. $1200 for bills $3800 for a week in the Keys. Because a week in the Keys costs a hell of a lot more than $12000. I think we spent more money in Key West than in Hawaii.

But I though he GFM was only for he bills and they got enough in wedding presents to pay for the honeymoon.

Here's a concept: maybe they shouldn't have bought a new car. Another concept: doesn't sound like they can afford to go on the honeymoon if they can't pay their bills.

I might even be willing to have a compromise. Go to a local hotel for the weekend (or when you don't have to take off work) so you can have a little alone, special time as husband and wife. Then put extra money on savings.

We're putting ours off too.  But FI sees getting married in Sydney as something of a honeymoon in itself.  I keep trying to explain that it's the same as getting married in Dearborn, only nicer.  I'm going home, it's not romantic.  I'll be run off my feet for the entire time I'm there; also not romantic.  

Hopefully we'll go somewhere nice over the summer...  Or you guys could buy us a honey moon.  Give me five minutes and I'll link you to my new GoFundMe website. 

Even typing that as a joke makes me feel like a dickhead.  Seriously!  How do people do this stuff?

So I actually took that pic a little bit ago and kept forgetting to post it.  I finally actually looked at the gofundme page and here are some updates.  So far they have raised $290.  8 people have donated so far, and the trip isn't until Late October so there's still more time.  Also attached a picture of one of the updates from the page.
