Awwe

So my SIL just asked what our wedding song was.   Do that mean they might play it at the wedding? They are getting married on our anniversary.

If so I kind-of feel bad.  It's not a love song and it's country.  They are not country fans.

I guess we will see.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

  • That's sweet of her to recognize your anniversary on her wedding day. Enjoy it. And happy anniversary.

  • That's really awesome of her! Happy early anniversary!

  •  I agree, it's nice that she'd ask/recognize your anniversary on her wedding day! I think it would be sweet if a friend did that for H & I, in that same situation. I wouldn't feel bad, and I wouldn't worry about it. It's 1 song, and "if" that's why she asked, then she'll decide whether or not she wants to play it.

     Happy Anniversary!

  • We don't need recognition, but it's sweet the thought is there. I've seen too many brides on here almost get upset at the thought of recognizing someone's anniversary or birthday that falls on or around the same day. It is possible to be the center of attention AND briefly recognize someone else on the same day. True story.
