NWR: Trader Joe's Treats

I don't usually buy candy because then I eat it, which, let's face it, I don't need to be doing.

But I cannot pass up the Trader Joe's smores bites or their fruit jellies. Seriously, I am about to kill a package of both of them.

WHY, TRADER JOE'S?! Why do you insist on producing yummy treats at affordable prices?!

I know I constantly rave about JC, but damn-- if we had a TJ's it would be absolutely perfect here.  I don't really have a sweet tooth, but their five-layer bean dip is just SO GOOD.

I love TJ.  I just found out there's one 10 mins from our place!  I just bought a case of their wine for a girls night I'm having this weekend and I really like a lot of their sauces for marinating.  I haven't had the smores bites.  I'll be on the look out for them my next trip.  Now that its so close I'm looking for excuses to go.  Not to mention there are soooo many other good stores I have to pass to get here.  Once I park they're all walking distance.

We have a Trader Joe's near my office (well, close enough I could pop in quick on a lunch break) but it's SO far from my house. I'll just have to settle with only having Wegmans close by.

How about this. You ladies ship me your awesome treats and I'll send you ketchup chips. I just found out that you guys have garlic cheese toast chips - those sound amazing too.  I'm all about salt.

Are these peanut butter cups better than the mini peanut butter cups that Reese's has now? Because those itty bitty unwrapped ones were a disappointment and a half. Still gots the love for the wrapped minis though.

I think they are delicious. Chocolate and peanut butter? How can that go wrong. Disclaimer: I have never tried the mini Reese's. So I can't tell you if they taste better.

How sad is it that I have never been to a Trader Joes? There are plenty of them around, maybe I'll pop in one while im put and about this weekend.

The mini Reese's are terrible. Not enough chocolate flavor. The TJ ones however are divine. They are much larger though. My TJ weakness is the dark chocolate covered mints. There is one a few blocks from my office, thank god the line is always insane otherwise I would be tempted to go to there all the time.

I usually really dislike dark chocolate, but these don't really taste like dark chocolate. But oh my gosh, amazing.

It makes me so grumpy that there isn't a TJ in my county!   We have to drive at least 40 minutes to get to the closest one.

I hear the cookie butter is amazing and now they have it in ice cream form!

I bought some of the cookie butter two weeks ago when I was in Seattle (no TJ's in Canada)! @PrettyGirlLost, your timing with that post was perfect (or awful, considering the wedding is two and a half months away). ETA: I tried the Gummy Tummy penguin candies, but I didn't think they were anything special.

I love almost everything at TJs. The triple ginger cookies are amazing. As is the cookie butter. They also have Speculous biscuits.

What is the damn ketchup chip brand they have in Canada? They sell Lay's ketchup chips online, and we've gotten Herr's before, but FI misses the kind that he used to get as a kid in Canada and I REALLY want to surprise him with some.
