showing fiance your wedding day shoes? (pics)

hi all!

so i know a lot of people follow the tradition of not showing your fiance your dress before the wedding day.... but what about your wedding shoes?

my fiance does not want to see my dress before the wedding so we are on the same page there... but he is wondering what kind of shoes to wear. all is picked out but his shoes..... i want him to feel comfortable enough to say that he wants to wear flip flops or dressier shoes, but he needs some guidance and i'm not sure i can give it to him without showing him the shoes i'm going to wear.

FYI our wedding is outdoors, on a ranch in hawaii. attached are pics of his suit, my dress and my shoes.

Show him your shoes it wont hurt and may help with his decision. I bought three pairs before deciding on one and H saw them all as they arrived in the mail.

He picked the shoes from three, so it's fine. It gives no indication of the dress.

FI was with me when I bought the shoes, lol.  Seeing the shoes won't ruin the dress for him.

thanks, all! i ended up slipping it into conversation about his choice of shoes a couple of nights ago... i told him i already have mine and offered to show him so he could get an idea. he said, "nah it's cool, i already think i know what i want." simple as that! the offer to show him stands, and i told him they're flip flops, and he was not surprised since that's all i wear haha

DH was with me when I bought my shoes. Plus, I wore them a few times before the wedding to break them in a little and to figure out of any adjustments were needed.

Fiance was with me when I bought my shoes. Your dress is beautiful! Where did you get Fiances suit? I am still looking for suits and am not sure where we will end up getting it.

we ended up getting his linen suit from Mens Wearhouse, just the jacket and pants, was about $300 including tailoring. gonna get it pressed or whatever right before the wedding

My H saw my shoes. I needed to break them in and scuff up the soles, so I wore them around before the wedding. It's NBD.

My FI has seen everything except the dress (shoes, veil, jewelry, etc) - the dress is in a big black garment bag which he helped me carry in - so he's seen that it's a HUGE dress.
