Which brooch bouquet method did you use?

There's the styrofoam ball, using an armature, or just putting stems on each jewel and wrapping the stems together. Which method did you use and would you recommend (or not recommend) using one method over another?

I would try posting this in the Budget and DIY section.  You'll probably get better results over there.  I know I've seen several ladies post in that section about making theirs.

One of the mods can, or just leave it. It'll eventually fall down the page and get lost in the hundreds of the threads beyond page 1.
