Buying a dress online/consignment

Has anyone had any luck with getting a dress online though consignment sites, such as oncewed or preownedweddingdresses.com?? I have messaged some people on there about dresses, but have yet to have any luck with people responding to my initial interest! Any tips or advice would be great!

I bought my dress from preownedweddingdresses, and am pretty pleased with it.  It came from a bridal shop in California and was new with tags, the bride ordered it and decided she didn't want it after all.

Well I had thought about this too- I am actually listing mine on bridepower.com right now, and I am not sure if I will remember to take the listing down once it sells... that is probably what happens with some people.

Oh - I forgot - I had messaged about a different dress to one seller, and didn't hear back, so I assumed it had sold. I moved on and found the dress I actually bought. Then a week later the seller emailed and said the email had gone into spam. I felt bad because I'd asked her to send me current pics of the dress and she had drug it out, but I'd already bought the other dress, so hers was a no-go.

I got my dress off of preownedweddingdresses as well. I ended up trying to go with a local dress and went to pick it up in person. But I have had people not get back to me about dresses as well - I think it's hit and miss.
