Photographer Recommendations

hey, so I am looking for a photographer for our wedding next July. We have had a few come across our plate but we either didn't really like them or their prices were too high. We are paying for quite a few things ourselves and want a photographer to cover about 6 hours or more for around $1,000. We do need to get engagements done and we won't really order pictures so we don't need a package like that either. If you guys have any recommendations for the Gresham area, I would be forever greatful. Please give me price details if you can and your style, we are very outdoorsy people so they would have to have experience in outdoor weddings!

We're using April Williams. She's out of Vancouver, but most local photographers travel with ease. She's affordable and you can purchase your negatives (digital copies) of your photos to print on your own instead of getting a package.  Here's her site: http://www.aprilwilliamsphotography.com/

Kari Rae Photography. You can look her up on facebook. She did our wedding in September and the pictures were fantastic. During the ceremony I didn't even hear any clicking from a camera or any flashes...it was perfect.

We are using Nicolle Gonzalez of Sacred Lotus Photography.  We did our save the dates with her and they turned out great!  She customizes packages for you, so will probably be able to easily help you out.

We went with Michael Hacker, and he has a 6 hour coverage for $1,100, with he and his wife taking pictures, and you get the rights to your pics. We really really loved his work. I'm pretty sure his website is just www.michaelhacker.com (and I think I have some pics in my bio you can see too)
