Hi everyone, I am looking for help trying to find the best of the best of the best plus size bridal salons. I've been to David's Bridal twice and Alfred Angelo and found that they didn't have a big enough selection for me. I am looking for a 22-24. Let me know where you all have had positive experience!

I went to Vow's in Watertown to find my gown and they had a whole side of the store for plus-sized dresses. I would call and see if they have your size! I didn't go over to that side but it looked like it had tons of selections. The prices were also very good. Good luck!

In addition to the Boston board, you might want to cross-post this on the Plus-Sized board. They have lots of dress threads and recommendations over there, and some of them post their own pictures of the dresses so you can see what it looks like on someone who's actually a size 18/20/22, etc. It's really helpful!

Try calling salons in your area and asking them how many plus sized samples they have in the store.  The following designers have really beautiful plus size lines.  Look on those designer's websites for an authorized retailer, and then call those salons and ask them if they carry the plus size line:

I got my dress from Bridal and Gift in Attleboro, MA.  They had a whole room of plus sizes (into the 30s, I think).

Target, Macys, Dhgate, Avenue, Lane Bryant, AlfredAngelo etc are best and reliable online merchants to buy plus size wedding clothes at discounted price. They have good deal on premium clothes especially for bride.

Don't buy from DHGate. They are knockoff site.  I don't think you can find wedding gowns at target, lane bryant or avenue.

I'd also consider trying La Reine in Waltham. It's where I got my gown from, and some of the samples I tried were size 20-24. They have an off the rack selection too. Bella Sera in Danvers also had some large sample dresses. They might be willing to part with one.
