    Have you posted this in the community boards for Boston and other areas of Massachusetts.  

    Who was the person you haven't heard back from?  I'll definitely ask my friends once I know who to weed out.  I really only know of seamstresses that work out of boutiques, and they won't work on dresses from elsewhere.  

    What was wrong with the alterations at the original store that put you off using them?  Also, can I ask which store it was?  I have a fairly good idea, but there are a few around here.

    I'm hapy with mine but I'm not sure if they only do gowns bought in their boutique. You could call and ask- Bella's Bridal in Worcester.

    That lady Sondra Celli makes all the gowns on the "big fat american gypsy" show and she's in Waltham. Obviously your dress isn't gypsy-like but man the woman can sew lol
