Use Return Address Stamp as Mailing Address

Hello!

I recently purchased a simple return address stamp to use for our invites etc. but I am curious if I can use it on the front (as the address) on the RSVP envelopes?

It looks like:
Bride First Name & Groom First Name
.............................................................
123 Street Name
City, Province Postal Code

I was thinking I would also try mailing something to myself to try it out. But has anyone else ever done this and has it worked?

Any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated.
