HAHAHAHA! So frikking true- when we fell in love, he looked just like Neil Young during the "Back to the Gold Rush" era. Now he looks just like aged Neil Young, and it cracks me up to no end.

FI doesn't either! His whole family is gone before 70 so I keep trying to get him healthier because my entire family lives to 95-100 and I don't want to be alone for 25 years!

Mom and grandma are known as The Q-Tips, because of their fluffy white heads.

While the Q-Tips were out front waiting for their car after the hoopla, here comes a random bar hopping Bachelorette party down the street, and there was much squealing and "Wedding Grandmas!" and picture taking. 

Random Bride To Be asks sweet grandmas for marriage advice.

My mama (well into her Manhattans) points at her mama and says, "Hell, ask her. She's been married five times." 

Sweet little Grandma, (three Proseccos in her 90 pound system) says, "Make sure you get a nice ring, feed him well, and if he crosses the line, kick him to the curb and move the hell on."

Random Bachelorette party screams with laughter and tries to get the Q-Tips to join them at the next bar.

Those Q-Tips crack me up.

I talk about the same thing! My family tends to last about the same (grandparents are currently mid-90's and healthy). FI's family doesn't make it until 70. I just remind him that I don't want to have to go searching out replacements.

Yep, I still have my Grandma. Amazing! She's 97, and still lives independently, with frequent visits from us. She's only a mile from Mama, about 20 minutes from me. Getting a little forgetful, and frail, but still sharp and funny and walks every day.

She says the secret is good clean living. She says it with a straight face. I guess she's forgetting she owned bars and married Grandpa Benny The Fence and got into a bar fight with a parrot in Mexico City, and God knows what else. It just goes on and on. She is colorful.
