So fellow Vegas knotties...we are narrowing down our music choices this weekend. We can include 20 MUST PLAY songs and unlimited do not play songs. We decided to make it fun, we would have a draft on Saturday, me and FI, with 10 pics for each of us. Any suggestions for must play and do not play?! Please play my game. :-) A couple I already have on do not play...Red Red Wine, Doin the Butt, Life is a Highway

    Only had two songs on our do not play list; YMCA and anything related to starting a stupid conga line lol.

    Some of our must plays:
    • Brown Eyed Girl - for my wife
    • Sweet Caroline - since all our friends like to drink and love singing it when they're drunk
    • Waking up in Vegas - always liked that song even though I dont like her other music.
    • Can't take my eyes off of you - Frankie Valli
    • Hey Ya! - Outkast

    I don't like any of the line dance songs..cha cha slide, wobble, macarena, ect. My MUST play songs are "Jump on It" by Sugarhill Gang and "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake :)

    My BIL recently informed me that (unless your guests are all couples) "Single ladies" is now a must play for all wedding receptions. Ironic, I know. But the bride gets to hold up her hand like, " He put a ring on it!" Lol I love the Brown Eyed Girl mention.

    I must admit I love the Cupid Shuffle but I won't waste a draft pic on it. Brown Eyed Girl always irritates me because I'm a blue eyed girl. My baby sister is a brown eyed girl and she got all the love. I probably need therapy for that haha!

    I love the draft idea!   We're working on our playlists for the suite and dinner (we're not doing a DJ and are doing a strip tour instead).  But we still need music!  It's a lot of work, there are so many great songs.

    Yep we used ANL too.  We had Josh & Jeremy, who were awesome, and I've seen many good reviews of Lance who seems to be their go to guy for a lot of their gigs.  I communicated with him beforehand as he was handling a lot of the preliminary info stuff and then J&J day of.

    YES! It's actually "Apache" (Sugarhill Gang). I love that song! That should be on my list, but FI would roll his eyes. LOL

    I made some progress today keeping a long master list in preparation for the draft tomorrow night. We're going to each do two pics for our parents. Easier said than done....his parents were born in the early fifties, mine in the early sixties so their music genres are drastically different. I grew up listening to fleetwood Mac and lynrd skynrd and he grew up with smokey Robinson
